Hello and welcome to Harbourne Vineyard.
We are Nigel and Jude, owners, growers and caretakers of this small but deeply loved vineyard in High Halden, Kent.
Our vineyard has been part of the landscape since 1979, and over the years it has become not just a place of work, but a genuine passion that we feel privileged to share.
From the beginning, Harbourne Vineyard was built on one simple belief:
great wine begins with great care.
Our vines have been growing for more than four decades and now have beautifully developed root systems that reach deep into the soil. This gives our grapes a richness and depth of aroma that only established vineyards can produce.
We carry out almost every part of the process by hand—from winter pruning and canopy care to harvesting each bunch at the perfect moment.
Every grape used in our wine travels no more than a short walk from the field to our small on-site winery.
